Claros Technologies receives ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation in April 2023.
April 2022 (MINNEAPOLIS) — Claros Technologies recently passed an ANAB external audit for ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and received accreditation. ISO 17025 is the international standard for laboratory competence. It\’s recommended that all laboratories undertake testing, sampling, or calibration work towards receiving the accreditation, to instill trust and demonstrate reliability amongst customers. As an accredited lab, Claros has validated its capabilities and the reliability of test results.
Dr. Zijie “Beryl” Xia, Director, Analytical Laboratory at Claros Technologies oversees the laboratory and has identified several areas in which this accreditation will enhance the lab’s capabilities. This accreditation will provide more robust quality control, a more structured lab management system, and increased client trust and confidence.
Will Hutchison, Quality Manager at Claros Technologies said, “The most powerful benefit of going through this process is that we are a better organization as a result. The processes we have implemented to receive ISO 17025 accreditation will improve our operations and drive the mission of Claros forward.”
ISO/IEC 17025:2017 specifies the general requirements for laboratories\’ competence, impartiality, and consistent operation. With this accreditation, Claros can meet customer requirements and assure the quality of our methods and data.
